Welcome to Allscott Meads Community

A new online home for our village is coming soon!
We’re building a place where our community can connect, share updates, and stay informed on all things that matter locally — from road safety and planning developments to petitions, nature conservation, and neighbourly events. Whether you’re deeply involved or just want to stay in the loop, this will be your go-to space for Allscott Meads.

If you have an idea or would like to get involved, feel free to email us at

📢 Why We're Rebuilding the Website (Click to Read More)

Due to a high number of unauthorized users and spam registrations from outside the UK, we’ve decided to rebuild the Allscott Meads Community website from the ground up.

We're using this as an opportunity to create a safer, more user-friendly space for local residents.

All users will need to create a new account. Access will be limited to residents of Allscott Meads and nearby areas.

During registration, you’ll provide your name, email, and address. A unique activation code will be hand-delivered to your door. Once your account is activated, your address will be deleted from our system to ensure maximum privacy.

For security, two-factor authentication (2FA) will be required when logging in.

There will be no private messaging features — instead, we’re introducing a community wall where everyone can participate publicly, like a virtual town square.

Thank you for your patience as we build something better for everyone.

🏡 Our Village Is Growing — Let’s Grow Wisely (Click to Read More)

Allscott Meads is a young and vibrant village, and by the time it's complete, it will be home to over 470 households. But growth isn’t stopping there — two new developments are already planned: over 150 houses across the road toward the river, and more than 70 near The Duck pub. At the same time, the quarry nearby is preparing to double in size.

While development brings opportunity, it also brings responsibility. And right now, our local infrastructure is not keeping pace. Safer roads, better public transport, and thoughtful planning are essential — not just for today, but for the future of our children, our neighbours, the wider community, and nature conservation. The River Severn is a Special Area of Conservation, and we, as local residents, hold responsibility for its preservation and protection.

This website is now being redesigned for that very reason: to connect us, to give voice to our concerns, and to encourage constructive conversations. We’re not here to stop development, but to work together and call on Telford & Wrekin Council to ensure that public infrastructure is improved in every way possible, alongside this rapid growth.

When we speak together — kindly, clearly, and with purpose — we are strong. Let’s help shape a safer, healthier, and more connected village for everyone. Let's make Allscott Meads the best place to live, together, old and new Salopians.

Thank you for being part of this community.

🌼 Social & Village Life (Click to Read More)

Another important part of life here is simply spending time together. We’re planning relaxed events like free summer BBQs, a bouncy castle for the kids, and other small gatherings to help neighbours connect, laugh, and belong.

This website will be the main place to stay in the loop — especially for those who don’t use social media. Think of it as our virtual town hall, a digital village noticeboard, and a shared front porch.

If you’d like to help shape what happens next, we’d love to hear from you. This space is built by a small team of residents who volunteer their time — and anyone is welcome to get involved.

We're not just building a better village for ourselves, but for future generations, for the nature that surrounds us, and in respect for the long-standing Salopian neighbours who’ve called this land home for generations.

Kindness builds strong places. We hope you’ll be part of it.
